Most items that are metal or mainly metal are accepted by the scrap recycler and eligible for free removal. The lists below give examples of items we commonly collect but is no where near a complete list of what can go. Please ask when booking in if you have items that you're unsure about.
There are minimum quantities for collection depending on your location. Smaller loads can be collected for a small fee. These minimums do not apply for the township residents and businesses in Willunga and McLaren Vale.
Some items can't be collected for free. This usually happens where the size is extreme and the weight very light. Examples of this includes whole rainwater tanks, folded up gutters and giant unrestrained balls of mesh or wire. Unfortunately the scrap yard now charges to accept televisions, monitors and gas bottles. Please check Items with Fees for more details.
